PATHOLOGY SERVICES

At ClearMedi hospitals, the department offers timely and accurate histopathology and cytopathology services to various clinical specialities. The Pathology Services offered at ClearMedi Hospital receives huge flow of histology specimens, cervical smears, and cytology specimens. The Pathology Department at ClearMedi Hospital offers tissue biopsies and resections including cancer biopsies and complex cancer resections. ClearMedi Hospital also provides neuropathology services as well as fine needle aspirations (FNAC) are also offered. We also report on fluid cytology specimens and cervical smears. We have a fairly large panel of immuno histochemical markers to assist in diagnosis, and also to carry out therapeutic and prognostic immunohistochemical tests. Various special histochemical stains, when needed, are also carried out here.
